9. Listening time
To be able to say correctly the liaison and intonation, I have practiced very hard. I listened again and again, and then I marked the words emphasized. After that, I divided the paragraph and said correctly that part until I didn't need to look at them again. For me, practice speaking English we don't need to complete the whole paragraph at the same time, but practice listening to English is different. Listen as much as possible. I want to create an English environment around me. So listening just one video mentioned above all day will be a little bit boring. Over the world, there are many people speak English with different accents and I want to understand them.
Lucy is going to represent me tell you about this.
Here's one example.
It's amazing, isn't it?
Now let's get started with simple series English film: Extra.
Hide all subtitles and listen when you are conscious and give them your full attention. You shouldn't watch them too much. One episode a day is enough. Make some notes what you haven't heard and try to refresh the next day.
