7. Topic: Practise speaking English naturally
If you are of 9x generation in Vietnam, you probably already know him. I knew him as a Youtube vlogger, who made funny videos and connected the Vietnamese YouTubers. But he passed away two years ago because of a stroke, leaving many meaningful projects.
I've just seen this series videos a few minutes ago and they're really meaning to me. It makes me think differently about methodology. I thought an engineer just has reading comprehension is enough.
But no, I used to like talking to foreign girls, especially the sense of delight when I chat with them on their livestream. Why did I have such lazy thought?
Connecting with beautiful foreign girls is a great feeling. Why don't I invest in a cool voice when I can?
(Chatting with a Japanese girl story: Among the hundreds of people interacting, she always tries to answer my comments even though her English is not good. Do you know how I feel? :D)

She's my age =)) I don't know why I feel so suited to girls of my age.

I love to travel to different countries, I love meeting new people and tasting different foods (that's my favourite part!).
To date, I think I have visited about twenty-two, different countries but there are so many more places on my list.
Almost every person that I know, who has a decent income, does some sort of travel every year, usually overseas, to a different country.
In my opinion, travelling overseas and to different countries makes us more accepting of each other's differences and teaches us respect for different cultures, traditions and beliefs.
It also helps me to tell some pretty interesting stories about my adventures. I love talking to people about places they've visited and things that they have seen in the world.
I think it's because I can easily relate to them and it's easy for me to share my stories and experiences with them.
Plus, I love getting recommendations about places to visit. It helps me to plan where my next holiday is going to be.

Sex is a very interesting topic. Sometimes it’s so interesting we can’t talk about it. In some countries, you should never talk about it. Sex is a taboo subject in a lot of societies. Basically, sex is what keeps the human race going. Without it, there’d be no babies. I learnt about this when I was ten. We had a sex education class at school. Of course everyone laughed. But then six years later, we all knew more. I think schools need to teach more about safe sex. There are too many teenage pregnancies. Sex is an important part of relationships, but sometimes it is the cause of marriage break-ups, if one partner has a love affair with another person. This is a problem. Many people, usually men, have sex on the brain. 😜

July 10, 2017: Don't count on luck. Let's rely on hard work.
Here's how I look at life.
You’re unlucky. I’m unlucky. We’re all unlucky. But don’t worry, that’s a good thing. Let me make my point. You’re not going to win the lottery, you’re not going to win in Vegas, you may get crabs. Well, you bring that on yourself. Actually, they don’t want me to work blue so I’ll keep it straight. Now, people say to me all the time, “Adam, what do you mean you’re not lucky. Look at your house, look at your cars, look at your life, look at your wife, look at everything that you have!”. That’s not luck. That’s me. I earned that. And if I thought I was lucky, I’d probably still be sitting in my one bedroom apartment in North Hollywood on my futon scratching lottery tickets. See, that’s just it. I know I’m unlucky. I’ve bet on the last five Super Bowls and lost. As a matter of fact, I lost four in a row and said I’m not betting this last year because I lose every year. And Jimmy Kimmel called me and said, “Who do you like in the Super Bowl.”. And I said, “I’m not betting Jimmy.”. And he said, “You have to bet, so I know how to bet, because I’m going to bet against you — because you’re that unlucky.” And, I lost. Thus, he won. It’s always nice when a rich guy gets richer. People say, “Oh! Well if you hadn’t met Jimmy Kimmel, you wouldn’t have got into radio. So, that was lucky!”. I’ll grant you this — we’re all lucky not to be born still born, or to have been clipped by a cattle truck when we were roller blading, or not stepped in a bear trap when we were five years old and devoured by hyenas. (That’s how my cousin went.). But the point is, yes we’re all lucky to be standing on this planet without a horrible disease. And I understand there are certain people that are super unlucky. and have things like tumors and bronchitis and that sort of thing. We dodged that bullet. So, your dad could own a Ferrari dealership. That would put you at the top. Or you could be born without your limbs. That would put you on the bottom. But then there’s the middle, and the middle is where 99% of us reside. And what I’m trying to tell you is don’t count on luck. Rely on hard work. Look at life as a prize fight, and you’ve got to get up and do road work every morning. And you’ve got to work that heavy bag, and you’ve got to work that speed bag, and you’ve got to work that double-ended bag. (What’s a double-ended bag? That’s that one in the middle. It’s got the bungee cord on each side. It’s cool. Anyway, I digress.). Why? Because if you don’t train, you’ll go into that ring of life and get your ass whooped. And I don’t want to see that happen to you. So, let’s not rely on Vegas, let’s not rely on the lottery. Let’s rely on hard work. “But Adam, you met Jimmy Kimmel, you’re so lucky. He made your career.”. No, no, no. Jimmy did not come to my house. I went to Jimmy’s work. And I couldn’t get into it because it was a radio station and it was locked up. And I came back the next morning and I got in. And I found him and made my own luck. Figure if it ever comes down to a coin toss, if your resume is on a desk and there’s someone else’s resume on the desk — and they’re both exactly equal — they’re going to pick the other guy’s resume every time. Look at life that way. Thus, your resume must be twice as good as the guy you’re going against. Now that you guys are feeling like you’re born under a dark cloud, let’s get out there and take over the world. I’m Adam Carolla for Prager University.

July 13, 2017: Change Your Life
I'd like to talk about 'Emotional Growth', aka 'Change', the greatest part about being a human being that we completely ignore. If you think about it, every other species on the planet is unable to change. Polar bears, they can't change. Actually, you can ask. No, you know what, don't bother. They'll eat you. I mean, really. Nothing else on the planet can change but us. We can change. It's the greatest thing about being a human being, yet we squander it every single day.
How many people do you know that are exactly the same as they were in high school? And by the way that's always bad. Even if you were good in high school, not changing is bad. But most of the people I know started off bad. And whatever habits they had, good or bad, or idiosyncratic behavior, they're taking it straight to the grave. The only way you can change, and believe you me, everybody around you wants you to change in some way, shape, or form — that's the sad part.
Yes, we would all love you to change. The only way you can change is through internalizing. The way you internalize is, just about everything that happens in your life, you make yourself responsible for. And it's easy to do — it's painful to do, it's rarely done, but here's how you do it. Let's just say I wanted some FroYo. And by the way, how lazy are we that we can't even say 'Zen' and 'Gurt'?
Let's just say I wanted some "Frozen Yogurt". And I got in my car, and I went up the street, and I went to the frozen yogurt place, and it was closed. Now, I could pound on the glass and throw my hands up to the heavens and scream "WHY?" "It's noon. It's Tuesday. It's the middle of the summer." "You guys should be open. This is an outrage." Or, I can think, "You know what? I should have called first." Because the only way I can get anything out of this experience is by turning it to myself and on myself and internalizing. And I'm not saying I'm a bad man or should be incarcerated for not calling them first. But if I can get into the habit of making almost everything my — not fault — but responsibility, then I can use what was a wasted across town into a learning experience.
Whether it's riding a motorcycle with no helmet or going to the FroYo place and finding it's not open, you are the first person that makes that decision. And if you're going to blame your teachers, meaning "I got an 'F' because they don't like me." Or you're going to blame your girlfriend or boyfriend because "they don't listen", "they don't understand", "every guy I meet is in love with himself and never listens".
Well what... every guy YOU meet. What's the one constant in this equation? Well, that would be YOU. So please find a mirror and start looking into it. Change as a human being should not be something we shun. It should be something we embrace. And it is humbling, and it doesn't feel good. But it's the greatest gift we have as human beings. Again, salamanders and koala bears — although what would you change about a koala bear, they're so squeezable, those guys — they don't have a choice!
We can go from unemployable, horrible, uneducated to God's gift to humanity with just a little something called: Change. And first internalizing. I'm Adam Carolla for Prager University.
